During lockdown a poet invents a poetic machine - Humbaba, in which algorithmic poetry is able to reflect human feelings. The retellings of the Epic of Gilgamesh echo the stories of the Shaman Gabyshev and Putin.
The film is an autobiographical account of the family displaced during lockdown, mixing conversations between the filmmaker, based in the UK and her mother displaced in provincial Russia.
The film was produced as part of OPEN DOC project at Teatr.doc (Moscow, Russia).
